As women traveling alone, we loved the beautiful Venetian style of Hotel Metropole. The rich colors, comfy chairs, and mirrors created a vibrant and cozy atmosphere. The Morano candelabra added a touch of elegance. The terrace at the back was a cool place to relax after a long day of walking in the heat. The spa looked amazing, even though we didn't have a chance to try it. The staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome.
The staff at Hotel Metropole made us feel very special, and nothing was too much trouble.

Delicious pastries, eggs, and bacon offered for breakfast. Great location in the Castello district close to popular public areas, like Piazza San Marco, but still away from the heavy crowds. 🥐

Despite the warm weather during our stay, the hotel staff were unable to adjust the room temperature due to the old building. However, they apologized and provided us with a free dinner to make up for it. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff in the breakfast room were efficient and kind. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk to San Marco square. I would highly recommend this hotel for its service and amenities.

Beautiful and individually decorated rooms. Helpful and courteous all-male staff. Lovely garden where breakfast is served. Great selection of nearby cafes and restaurants. Ideal location for the Biennale
Did not receive the expected lagoon view room. Shower arrangement can lead to water splashing.

We had a lovely time during our romantic getaway. The hotel's decor was charming and really captured the essence of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from.
The room we stayed in was a bit outdated and could use some modernization. The bathroom, while clean, was a bit cramped and difficult to maneuver in.

This hotel made our weekend stay in Italy unforgettable! The complimentary breakfast was exceptional and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the hotel was located right in the heart of the city which made it easy to explore and experience the local culture.
The hotel's decor felt dated and in need of some refreshing. The loud generator outside the window disturbed our sleep and left the room feeling stuffy.
